The Eurovisions-Songcontest-Variant

The model of the ULF was first produced by HALLING Modelle in 2015. The model, which is often called “Conchita´s Wurst” (sausage), measures an impressive 405mm. In the meantime sold out, the model is now available again with the new NEM652 digital interface and for the last time.

ULF-ESC-M

The ULF (abbreviation for Ultra Low Floor) is a low-floor tram that was developed by Siemens Rail Systems for Wiener Linien. The ULF is characterized by its axle-free running gear and one of the lowest entry heights for trams in the world. A total of 330 ULF trains were built for Vienna between 1994 and 2017. 

Due to the high maintenance intensity and repeated problems with the hydraulics, the ULF is not particularly popular with the Wiener Linien workforce. In recent years, the hydraulic systems that could raise and lower the entire train have been replaced by rigid iron bars. With an entry height of 240 mm, the ULF is no longer the lowest tram in the world (197 mm), but it is much more popular.

    From 1918 to 1928, the deceased in Vienna were also transported by tram in these stylish waggon. The hearses are based on normal passenger cars (type p) of the city trams and were equipped with "compartments" lying transversely to the direction of travel, painted black and ennobled with a fine golden cross.

    The "Heidelberger" Type A! The war broke out, resources became scarcer and the KSW, “Kriegsstraßenbahnwagen” or “War Tramcar”, was built. Almost 700 of the trams were built in Uerdingen and Heidelberg in lightweight construction and easy to maintain, with plenty of standing room and therefore a high number of passengers.
