    Now the first models of the 34 series are also available!
    The Avenio from Siemens is a further development of the short-articulated Combino and is already in service in several European cities. To be able to realise the Avenio Bremen in model form, and thus to expand the in-house Avenio fleet by another member, is a great honour for the small Viennese model railway company HALLING Modelle! Now three different cars in standard colouring are available, just like the "Moin" already introduced at the end of last year!

    News 2022.02 - Viennese Type X

    The new Type X subway for Vienna!
    The Type X of the Vienna Underground, also known as the "X-Wagen", is the third generation of high-floor traction units. Following the legendary Silver Arrow (Type U) and the popular V-Wagen, the X-Wagen now represents a further development of the proven principle. It has been successively produced by Siemens since 2018 and delivered to Wiener Linien since 2020. The first models are now also available and are in no way inferior to the large prototype!

    News 2022.01 - BWB four-axle waggon

    Bezau – Schwarzenberg and back again!
    Bezau, once the terminus of the Bregenzerwaldbahn, is today the main town of the Bregenzerwald and the attractive starting point for a 5 km train ride in sync with the rhythm of the old days. The new wagon from Stängl Modellbahnen now also allows the wagons with the “Wälderbähnle” lettering to be put together to form a continuous set. The specially redesigned interior will allows an undisturbed visit to the toilet!

    The eternal Ybbstaler!
    The short ÖBB wagon with the number 3246 has a slightly turbulent and thus typically Austrian history. He has experienced a lot and yet never really left his beautiful home, the Ybbstal! When his wheels first travelled the rails of the Ybbstalbahn, it wore classic green and was documented, at least for a time, with the city arms of Lunz am See.

    The company FERRO-TRAIN began its turbulent career as a small series manufacturer of exclusive brass models. Today, a short 25 years later, the brand FERRO-TRAIN has developed significantly. While the first models, unimaginable today, were produced in Japan (!), the production of the brass models was soon relocated to an own factory in nearby Brno. The factory no longer exists today and good solderers are becoming increasingly rare.
